About,
Here you will find a selection of bespoke artisan homewares and furniture, designed and made by Norman Smith.
Handmade sculptured serving and cutting boards, cake stands, mid-century style coffee tables, shaker peg racks, steps , plant stands and retro lighting.
There is a selection of rocket mood lamps, table and floor standing tripod lamps and the classic cone lamps.
The lighting range will be expanded in 2024 with a new collection of conical lamps.
I will also be in collaboration with Timothy Rennie, who will be creating the luxury Inksplodge, hand-painted shades, for the various walnut lamp collections.
Private commissions are welcome.

The main vision is to bring beauty and functionality into the home, to improve the quality and pleasure in using everyday items.
My heart and soul goes into the things I make, I want them to be enjoyed, to have a life.

Wood is a very organic material, it has many characteristics and grain patterns, the patina will improve with age and daily use.
I take my inspiration from nature, spending time in the Cairngorm mountains, the wilderness and being surrounded by gods canvas. I know I will never create anything as beautiful and serene, as the tree it came from.
Thank you for taking the time to visit,
have a peaceful day,
Norman Smith
